By Steve Adams | July 22, 2024 at 11:13am CDT The Phillies re-signed outfielder David Dahl to a minor league deal and assigned him to Triple-A Lehigh Valley, per Matt Gelb of The Athletic (X link).
In order to make room on the 40-man roster, the Phillies would DFA Dahl. Dahl would clear waivers, and instead of being assigned back to Triple-A Lehigh Valley, he has elected free agency.
