What the Giants have to gain and lose by playing Daniel Jones in the preseason - MSNIf Daniel Jones does not play in any of the three Giants preseason games, there is a risk he does not properly shake off the rust and is not fully prepared for the regular season opener Sept. 8.
An injury to Jones would compel the Giants to pay him $23 million next season. And wouldn't the Giants like to see what backup Drew Lock, who they inked to a one-year, $5 million deal, can do?
Now, Jones isn't just on the board, next to names like Stefon Diggs and Chris Godwin, his odds are actually better than Richardson (+3000). Again, I say, LOL. This is absurd for more reasons than one.
