DALLAS - The cool and cloudy skies in North Texas will eventually turn rainy, especially later in the week. According to the FOX 4 Weather team, Tuesday will be cloudy with isolated showers and highs in the upper 50s. Tuesday is still mostly dry with the chance for showers increasing to about 30% overnight into Wednesday.

Close on the heels of a winter storm, a less novel and far wetter week is shaping up for Houston and the surrounding area. Sunday saw Harris County drenched by waves of thunderstorms. We'll see more of these downpours as the week continues,

We'll have light west winds and some passing mid-high clouds. The net result is a brief morning chill followed by temps in the low to a few mid 60s today. The Arctic air starts heading in on Saturday with gusty northern winds.

Widespread rain and flooding are a concern across North Texas Wednesday and Thursday. By Wednesday morning, scattered shower activity starts to overspread the rest of the region, gradually getting heavier later in the day, and overnight into Thursday.
