Seattle City Councilmember Joy Hollingsworth wants to balance crackdowns on illegal graffiti with beautifying public spaces, after a popular “Hot Rat Summer” mural was painted over.

With the Vancouver Mural Fest gone, a new event with live entertainment, murals, painting, and an art exhibit takes places in Mount Pleasant Aug. 8-10.
