Montclair State University, which agreed to help Bloomfield College stay solvent in 2022-23, has agreed to merge with the college in June 2023.
The college would be renamed Bloomfield College of Montclair State University. This would happen once the presidents of both schools sign an agreement and plan of merger.
If approved, school officials expect the agreement to be completed on or before June 30, 2023, leading the way to the new Bloomfield College of Montclair State University.
