A San Jose man has been convicted on charges that he stabbed 49ers linebacker Aldon Smith during a raucous house party two years ago during which two people were shot, prosecutors said Monday.

These charges are based on the same incident for which Smith (and former teammate Delanie Walker) were recently sued. In June of 2011, Aldon Smith hosted a house party, and was stabbed.
