Southampton defender Will Armitage has joined Aldershot Town on loan. Armitage will spend the remainder of the season with the Shots. Southampton signed the defender in 2022 from Cheltenham.

Aldershot has never made the final of the competition. The last time these two teams faced each other came in their National League fixture on Boxing Day 2024.
