The driver of a sinking 18-wheeler escapes by kicking out the front windshield after a traffic accident caused the vehicle to crash into a pond.

A man suffered serious injuries after he was involved in a crash Thursday morning between an 18-wheeler and a motorcycle, police said.

Details are limited, but it happened just before 4 a.m. when police reported a multi-vehicle crash with an 18-wheeler hauling beer on the North Freeway toward Little York.
