Pontiac’s DPW director, on the job for about seven months, has resigned. Mark Ragsdale’s last day was Monday, Feb. 3. He’s the ninth director to leave a high-level Pontiac job in the last three years.

A teen girl was seriously injured late afternoon Friday when she was hit by a car in West Bloomfield, police said. According to Police Chief Dale Young, a 911 call came in at around 5:30 p.m.

Feb. 7, the West Bloomfield Police Department received a 911 call about a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle.
