The map tracking Santa's trip around the world will begin Dec. 24, Christmas Eve from NORAD, a joint U.S.-Canada command responsible for protecting the skies over both nations. Visitors can track Santa's flight from 4 a.m. to midnight MST / 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. EST.

NORAD (the North American Aerospace Defense Command) has launched its annual Santa Claus tracking tool, which includes 3D maps and more.

NORAD has tracked the path of jolly old St. Nick on Christmas. People all over the world Google: “When does Santa Claus arrive?”

Connecticut residents can track Santa Claus on Christmas Eve using NORAD's website or Google. The mythical flight took off at 6 a.m. EST.

As it does every year, NORAD, the North American Aerospace Command, tracked Santa on his trip around the world on Christmas Eve so children and families could see where he was.
