Google is testing an experimental AI feature that creates a personalized podcast using your Search and Discover feed history. The Daily Listen feature in Google’s Search Labs is rolling out to Android and iOS users in the US according to 9to5Google, and works similarly to the Audio Overviews feature for Google’s NotebookLM project.

Google knows a lot about you and your interests, and it uses that information to try and get more of your time and attention. A new Search Labs experiment called "Daily Listen," for instance, can turn your Discover feed into a professional podcast.

The feature will reside at the top of your feed, beneath the search bar in the Google app or the integrated Discover feed on the Pixel Launcher. The UI is reminiscent of other podcast players, with options to play,

The Joe Rogan Experience has been unseated from its perch atop the U.S. Apple podcast charts by a religious prayer show. The Rosary in a Year is the top podcast on Apple, a rank it claimed for the first three days of 2025 as well.

The Rosary in a Year (with Fr Mark-Mary Ames) held the number one “top shows” spot on the Apple podcast charts for three days to start the new year. It has overtaken giants The Joe Rogan Experience, the Mel Robbins Podcast and Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Lie.
