Ohio State coach Ryan Day and his primary assistants combined for nearly $5 million in bonuses from the Buckeyes' national championship.

Ryan Day became the fifth Ohio State football coach to win a national title, joining legends Paul Brown, Woody Hayes, Jim Tressel and Urban Meyer.

Ryan Day deserved to feel vindication when he won a national championship less than two months after it seemed his Ohio State job was on the line.
