The Clarendon Hills Little League posted its first win Saturday in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Clarendon Hills bounced back from a lopsided loss in the first round of the Little League World Series​ to beat the Mid-Atlantic Region champion from Upper Uwchlan Township, Pennsylvania on Saturday 3-2.

WILLIAMSPORT, PA (Island News) -- It's crunch time this weekend for a powerhouse local baseball team competing in the Little League World Series in Pennsylvania. Already losing once this week, the Honolulu All-Stars will play a must-win matchup Sunday (7 a.m. HST) to advance.

The team from Upper Uwchlan Township in Chester County, Pennsylvania, will now head to the elimination bracket.

The Mid-Atlantic region squad beat Floyds Knobs, Indiana, representing the Central region, 1-0 in Sunday's title game in Greenville, North Carolina.

The West Suburban team from Johnstown, Pennsylvania defeated a team from Floyds Knobs, Indiana to win Pennsylvania's first title since 1978.
