Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event will unveil the Samsung Galaxy S25 series and new AI features, but Galaxy AI will be subscription-based from 2026.

As mentioned, the likely reveal of the Galaxy S25 is only a few days away. It's expected to comprise the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. All three new devices are expected get a series of upgrades apart from those that are AI-based, including the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.

Multimodal Sketch-to-Image: The Galaxy S25 series devices will allow users to create images by combining inputs such as rough sketches, text, and voice. Audio Eraser: Galaxy S25 series could introduce an Audio Eraser feature for isolating or removing specific sounds from videos.

Samsung will hold its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2025 later today. It’ll introduce some of this year’s hottest upcoming phones – namely the Galaxy S25 series. In case you don’t know, Samsung calls its large mobile launch events ‘Unpacked’. It’s a tradition that goes back to 2009 – beyond even the original Galaxy S phone.
