Brenda Cropper, 66, died at a hospital after being in critical condition all week after the fire erupted on Sunday, officials said.

Nine people have been killed and dozens are hurt as a fire tore through an assisted-living facility in Fall River, Massachusetts, officials said.

The tenth victim in the Gabriel House Assisted Living Facility fire died on Friday, the Bristol County District Attorney’s office confirmed. Brenda Cropper, 66, had been hospitalized in critical condition since the blaze Sunday night. The DA’s office said in a statement that “her passing was expected.”
