Firefighters hold lines as Burdoin Fire hits 11,249 acres in Columbia River Gorge
Fire lines held against gusty winds on Thursday around the Burdoin Fire in the Columbia River Gorge. Fire officials say that, “crews are working to stop fire movement within the unburned ‘fingers' around Catherine and Major creeks, Lyle Snowden Road and Canyon Road, as well as a ‘horseshoe’ on the east end of the fire.”
