Some Xbox Cloud Gaming titles support touch controls on smartphones and tablets. However, a wireless Bluetooth controller is a better option for a smart TV when playing console-oriented games. Microsoft's first-party Xbox controller is an obvious solution with widespread compatibility. Pairing these peripherals to LG TVs is usually straightforward.

When launching a game -- for example, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 -- the queue page does show up. In one case, it showed a wait time of more than 3 hours. On typical days, there's hardly any queue. When there is one, it's usually a few minutes.

That's thanks to a new year team-up between Xbox and LG, bringing support for Xbox Cloud Gaming to LG Smart TVs later this year. As shared on Xbox Wire, these LG TVs will soon allow players to browse and play Xbox games through the Cloud via the upcoming Gaming Portal app.

It’s teaming up with LG’s television division to prove it, announcing a partnership that will bring Xbox games, via Microsoft’s cloud gaming platform, to select LG TVs.
