LINCOLN, Neb. — Anyone who has frequented a University of Nebraska-Lincoln sporting event since 1993 has likely witnessed the antics of Lil' Red, the school's inflatable mascot.

Lil' Red, one of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln's mascots, was created in 1993 as a counterpart to Herbie Husker. Initially, for volleyball, it's now seen at football and basketball games.
