David Velasquez, 64, of Fort Morgan, died early Sunday, January 31, 2016 at his home after a brief battle with cancer. He was born December 4, 1951 in Pecos, TX to Robert & Trine Velasquez.

SPOKANE, Wash. – David Velasquez Jr. received a 200-month federal prison sentence for his role in a drug trafficking conspiracy involving fentanyl distribution in Eastern Washington.

According to the U.S Attorney's Office, Eastern District of Washington, David Velasquez Jr. was sentenced to 200 months in federal prison for conspiracy to distribute 400 grams or more of fentanyl.
