Sixteen Texas baseball players opted to enter the transfer portal.  Is that a lot and how will it impact the team next season?

Outfielder Easton Winfield and lefthanded pitcher Bryce Navarre became the latest Texas players to enter the portal. Winfield started six of the first seven games for the Longhorns in 2025 before coach Jim Schlossnagle began to look elsewhere for production in the outfield and at designated hitter.
