Soccer star Sam Kerr has signed a new contract with current Women’s Super League (WSL) champion Chelsea, the club announced Thursday, but not before giving her fans a minor scare.

Sam Kerr has agreed a deal in principle to extend her contract at Chelsea. The 30-year-old’s existing contract expires in the summer but she is soon to commit her future to the west London club.
