MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church’s school building will be demolished, the church’s pastor, the Rev. Fred Boni, confirmed on Facebook.

St. Catherine of Siena Hospital in Smithtown will lose its OB-GYN doctors and plans to close its maternity services program on Feb. 1, according to Catholic Health, which operates the hospital.

“St. Catherine of Siena Hospital will not have sufficient physician staffing to provide maternity services, despite significant, good-faith efforts undertaken by the hospital to secure support.” ...
