CATSKILL, N.Y. — The Catskill Central School District is in mourning after Dr. Ronel Cook, who served as the district’s superintendent from July 2017 to July 2022, died suddenly over the weekend.

CHICAGO (CBS) --There's a new mountain bike trail in northwest Cook County. The 13-mile trail is coming to the Paul Douglas Forest Preserve and will take riders through the woods, grass and wetlands.

Cook was taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester hospital, where he was pronounced dead, O'Leary said. His 18-year-old son suffered serious but not life-threatening injures in the crash, he said.
