Nvidia's rumored RTX 5050 has a new rumored spec to add to the pile: It's getting 8GB of GDDR6 memory, rather than the GDDR7 of its siblings in the Blackwell generation of Nvidia GPUs.
The GDDR6 memory across the series is produced by Samsung, with there being 6GB in the RTX 2060 and 8GB in the 2070. The RTX 2060 features a 192-bit interface, with a bandwidth of 336 Gb/s.
Both models were called the "GeForce RTX 3060," but the 8GB version was, on average, 15% slower, with instances where it was up to 26% slower.
The RTX 2070 Super has 8GB of GDDR6 memory, which is the standard type of memory for high-end graphics cards. It has a memory clock speed of 1750 MHz and an effective memory clock speed of 14000 MHz.
