BJP National Spokesperson, Pradeep Bhandari, has strongly criticized the state government of West Bengal following the alleged rape case at IIM Kolkata.

Police arrested a Noida resident, Pradeep Gautam, for allegedly driving a Mercedes involved in a fatal hit-and-run that killed a cyclist, Rajesh, on the Ashram flyover in Delhi.

A 34-year cycle rider died after a Mercedes allegedly hit him near Ashram area in south Delhi on Saturday (August 17). Pradeep Gautam, the driver in this hit-and-run case has now been arrested.

The suspect, Pradeep Gautam, 45, a resident of Noida Sector 46, was arrested. The Mercedes-Benz GLE 43, which was damaged in the accident, was seized from near his house in Noida, said police.

A speeding Mercedes, allegedly driven by Pradeep Gautam, struck Rajesh from behind and he lost his life. The driver fled the scene, but later surrendered at a police station in the evening.
