Pizza Tower might be the best 2D platformer I've played since Hollow Knight, and if you want to restrict that to non-metroidvanias, I gotta go back to 2014's Shovel Knight for anything this good.

This free update has seen Pizza Tower hit an all-new high on Steam, as the chart showing active players briefly turned into a vertical line, with 9,074 people playing the game at one time.

Pizza Tower developers Tour de Pizza shared the details about the upcoming free update via the Pizza Tower Twitter. Soon, players will be able to play through the entire game as The Noise.

Pizza Tower is a 2D platformer with over-the-top, hand-drawn animations and music. You play as Peppino Spaghetti, a manic pizza man with many abilities like charging, super jumping and dashing.

Boot up Steam and scroll to Tower of Pizza in your library. Right-click on the game and click on the Properties tab. Scroll to Installed Files, then activate the Verify Game Files option.
