Pittsburgh’s Department of Public Works on Wednesday announced they will begin giving away free mulch from recycled Christmas trees this weekend, and they will collect yard waste early next month.
Location for Mulch Giveaway: Pittsburgh Zoo Overflow Parking Lot, 7370 Baker Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206; Residents are encouraged to bring their own buckets, gloves, and shovels to collect mulch.
