The Showtime brand might finally be dead. Last year, Paramount killed the Showtime standalone streaming service, folding it into the Paramount Plus streaming service as Paramount Plus with Showtime. Now, we've learned that Paramount is changing that branding again.

Despite adopting Paramount Plus Premium, you will continue to see older titles on cable, satellite, and live TV streaming services (like Hulu with Live TV). Other than the name, the rest of the plan will remain the same. It will still cost $12.99 per month or $119.99 per year, and SHOWTIME’s catalog of films and series with minimal ads.

On June 23, Paramount announced to subscribers that its ad-free plan, formerly known as Paramount+ with Showtime, will now be called Paramount+ Premium. The newly renamed top-tier plan joins Paramount+ Essential as one of the streamer’s options, with the latter offered at a lower price but supported by ads.
