Neither narratively innovative nor thematically cutting edge, "Drawing Paper" is a competent but ultimately forgettable drama in the vein of the superior "Swing Girls" or ";Take Care of My Cat.

I would argue that the magic of Paper, the recently released drawing app for the iPad by some of the former Courier guys, is similar. Paper doesn't overload me with options.
