The rules of the PGA Championship attract furious reactions not only from golfers, but also from the public. Scottie Scheffler, the top-ranked player on the PGA Tour, and Xander Schauffele, were not delighted with the rules that prevent golfers from cleaning up balls that fall onto the fairway on a rainy day at Quail Hollow.

Xander Schauffele called out a ‘weird’ question as he prepared for the defense of his PGA Championship. Schauffele carded a final round of 65 at Valhalla last year to hold off Bryson DeChambeau and Viktor Hovland and claim his maiden major title.
