Acknowledging this toxic part of the online fandom, the show has opened the door for how fans on social media treat actors and creatives when things don't go their way.

The Summer I Turned Pretty returns to Prime Video for its third and final season on July 16 with two episodes. The remainder of the 11 episodes will debut weekly through September 17.
