When it comes musicianship, sound and creativity in a collegiate band, Ohio State’s marching band is among the top. The band’s high reputation may have risen to an even greater level on Thursday.

So for Hoch and the rest of the band, there’s no time for guest "I-dotters.". Guest "I-dotters" are extremely rare for the Ohio State marching band. In Hoch’s tenure, there have been only two.
