Remains of inscriptions depicting the goddesses Isis and Nephthys were found in the tomb, with yellow cartouches that once bore the king's name in hieroglyphs.

One set of golden bands of hieroglyphs that likely bore the king’s name (whose identity remains a mystery) and another of goddesses Isis and Nephthys.

Researchers discovered a royal tomb that is over 3,600 years old in Abydos, Egypt. The entryway of the tomb was decorated with inscriptions dedicated to Isis and Nephthys, goddesses of the afterlife.

Nephthys stands on the hieroglyph for gold, a mineral used in the embalming process. Part of the sarcophagus lid is missing, suggesting it may have been damaged as grave robbers tried to lever it off.
