Volleyball Day in Nebraska has officially broken the world record for attendance at a women’s sporting event at 92,003 fans in Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Nebraska volleyball developed a passionate following 40 years ago under former coach Terry Pettit. It has sold out 334 consecutive matches at the 8,309-seat Devaney Center in Lincoln.
