Hugely controversial plans to move a Surrey school have been given the green light despite serious road safety concerns persisting from parents and councillors.

William "Bill" Ticha, former directing principal at Gifford School in the Racine Unified School District, is the new principal at Yorkville Elementary School, 18621 Washington Ave.

Last year Trey McKenney was the Detroit High School Sports Awards Boys Basketball Player of the Year. This year he is Michigan's Mr. Basketball.
