The public map, created by the Minnesota Department of Health and the University of Minnesota, is based on lead service line inventories submitted by water utilities across the state.

It’s part of the Minnesota Department of Health’s Lead Service Line Replacement Program — an effort with the goal of getting rid of all lead service lines in the state by 2033.
