Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has reorganized the company's artificial intelligence efforts under a new division called Meta Superintelligence Labs, according to a source on Monday.

It's unclear where Meta will house the new AI team, but it comes as the Lone Star State has entered the conversation of the company's evolving identity.

Meta Platforms informed employees on Monday of the creation of a new unit inside the Facebook and Instagram parent following an expensive recruiting push to ramp up Meta's artificial intelligence development.
