Erie County 911 was still going to dispatch Perry Hi-Way to mutual aid calls, whether or not the department was part of the plan, Spaulding noted.

The plan is to limit Perry Hi-Way's EMS response to Summit Township, which is paying for the service, and possibly to a few municipalities that border the township, Spaulding said.
