Last season, archery accounted for 18 percent of the more than 274,000 deer harvested in Missouri. Almost 1.3 million deer permits per year are given in the state.

Missouri Valley now hosts 3-D archery shoots every Friday at 3 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. For $10 per person per shoot, participants have a chance at an 80 percent payback for winning the top spot.
