Female teachers are required to wear beige sarees or salwar-kameez with maroon borders. Male principals should wear white shirts paired with grey trousers.

As per a circular by Chandigarh administration, the dress code for government school teachers must be followed once a week, preferably on Mondays, and also during special functions or celebrations.
