Gas prices statewide jumped to an average of $3.27 per regular unleaded gallon. In Detroit, prices averaged $3.24 a gallon.

Gas prices are up 12 cents from a week ago in the state of Michigan, according to the American Automobile Association (AAA).

Michigan gas prices rose 12 cents this week as compared to a week ago, AAA-The Auto Club Group reported. Drivers are now paying an average of $3.27 a gallon for regular unleaded gasoline. This is 16 cents more than this time last month, but 32 cents less than this time last year.
