LATIMER — A pile of rotten corn is not an immediate health concern, according to Franklin County health officials.

When a huge pile of bright yellow corn kernels began to rise beside River Road at the Port of Indiana over last weekend, drivers were beyond curious. Several stopped and snapped photos.
