Albany Police have identified the victim of a homicide on Delaware Avenue as 21-year-old Davyjian Grier. Police said the homicide happened on Tuesday around 5:10 p.m.

The victim, 21-year-old Davyjian Grier, was having a verbal dispute with the gunman. The suspect fired multiple shots through the car windows and then took off on foot.

Police say Davyjian Grier was shot in his vehicle around 5 p.m. near Delaware Ave and Southern Boulevard. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the suspect in the shooting ran away.
