TONIGHT: A few scattered downpours and thunderstorms this evening. Then, turning partly cloudy, low 71. MONDAY: A beautiful summer day with plenty of sunshine and low humidity, high 85.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible this evening with an uptick expected after midnight into early Saturday.

The real relief comes this weekend, when we return to more seasonable temperature and less humidity. Highs will be in the mid-80s, and humidity will still be noticeable but less oppressive.
