Ira Dexter Eaton Jr., 29, is charged with murder in the slaying of 39-year-old Hernado Retion McJunkins, according to court records made public Tuesday.

He is charged with murder in the Aug. 17 slaying of 39-year-old Hernado Retion McJunkins. A second suspect has been arrested in the shooting death of a man outside a Birmingham motel.

Court documents say Gavino McJunkins-Macias allegedly killed his wife in rural Louisburg, Kansas, and drove her body back to Missouri in a camper.
