Seven people were injured Tuesday morning after a private ambulance crashed into a CTA bus in the South Loop, Chicago police said.

Both vehicles were southbound on the 1100 block of South Michigan Avenue, near East Roosevelt Road, when they collided at about 10:15 a.m., according to preliminary information from authorities.
