Two fire engines were called to the fire in West Howe that started in a hedge and damaged the exterior a building last night.

The cause of the fire is not yet clear. The service said in a statement: "We are currently dealing with a fire on West Undercliff, Bournemouth, affecting three beach huts and approx. 100 sqm of heath.

A spokesperson for the fire service said: 'We were called to East Beach, Undercliff Drive, Bournemouth, at 1.20am this morning for a fire involving multiple beach huts.
