A New Jersey tourist was gored by a bison at Yellowstone after a group of people approached it too closely, marking the second such incident this year as officials warn visitors about wildlife safety.

A bison gored a 47-year-old Arizona woman Monday morning in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, leaving her with significant injuries to her chest and abdomen, park officials said.

The 47-year-old man from Cape Coral, Florida, was gored by a bison “after he approached it too closely,” according to a news release from Yellowstone National Park.
