Bad Company's 1975 follow-up, “Straight Shooter,” was also a hit, going to No. 3 on album charts in both the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S. and the UK Albums Chart.

Bad Company will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Nov. 8 in Los Angeles. Ralphs, a native of Herefordshire, England, co-founded glam rock outfit Mott the Hoople in 1969.

When Mott the Hoople broke up in 1974, Ralphs co-founded Bad Company with Rodgers, the former lead singer of Free (“All Right Now”), Free drummer Simon Kirke and King Crimson bassist Boz Burrell.

Ralphs and Bad Company were inducted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2025. “Mick Ralphs helped define the sounds of 1970s hard rock and glam rock,” the Hall of Fame wrote in a statement.
