BMW has not revealed why it's discontinuing the M8 Coupe in the U.S., but slow sales due to its high price and more compelling rivals may have played a part.

The BMW M8 Coupe is dead, at least in the United States. According to a BMW spokesperson, dealers no longer accept orders for the two-door, fixed-roof version of BMW’s M8.

As per a dealer bulletin for the US market, German automaker BMW intends to end M8 Coupe production sometime in early 2025. The cited bulletin clearly states that new orders are no longer accepted.
